Loki Episode 3 - Lamentis

Yay, it's another Wednesday! Loki has already become the most watched Marvel Studios TV series since Disney Plus took over the reins, beating The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (understandably) and WandaVision (interestingly). This increased viewership probably has a lot to do with Loki being a way, way more popular character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe than Sam Wilson AKA Falcon AKA Captain America, Bucky Barnes, Vision or Wanda AKA Scarlet Witch. Oh, and also, it ROCKS!

The third episode (titled 'Lamentis' - invoking tears) has fast-paced action. Don't worry, this is a spoiler-free zero-spoiler no-fun-spoiler Loki episode 3 review. If you don't feel like you're in the mood to read, watch:

The episode has a relatively short runtime, but it is heavy on action and plot. Slight recap: Loki and the Variant (Lady Loki) have escaped from the Time Variance Authority's Minutemen (led by the endearing Owen Wilson as Mobius). They land up in a pickle after Lady Loki (preferred name: "Sylvie") carpet-bombs the Sacred Timeline in Episode 2.

All caught up? Great! Episode 3 builds a relationship of sorts between the two Lokis, even as the action (and Marvel's trademark comedy) jumps all over space and time. Visual effects are expectedly spectacular.

In fact, I was strongly reminded of the landscapes in The Mandalorian!

Watch the 3rd episode on Disney + (Hotstar in India) and share what you thought of it! I am on Twitter and Instagram as well as on YouTube India.
