In the UEFA Champions League match between Manchester United and Atalanta, the comeback kings proved the title once again at Old Trafford.
They went behind in the fifteenth minute itself courtesy Pasalic's goal.
More misery piled on, Atalanta adding insult to injury with a second:
In all, it was a bad first half performance defensively. The attacking gave Manchester United fans (like me) some hope of a legendary comeback.
Marcus Rashford scored a brilliant goal from a through-ball by Bruno.
Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani were brought on to substitute Scott McTominay and the recently recovered from injury Marcus Rashford.
Next, it was Maguire with the equalizer! What a second half comeback!
And to hammer the final nail in the coffin and turn the tides in the Theatre of Dreams near the port city of Manchester, it was Cristiano !!!
Ronaldo staked another claim towards being the Greatest of all Time - GOAT - with a fine all-round performance in a comeback win for MUFC.
And so history was writ by the victors, Manchester United, against the visitors, Atalanta B. C., in the most resounding of footballing fashions.
