The title of the episode posits the question: What if Dr. Strange lost his heart and not his hands? The description lays out the plot: Strange wants to use the Eye of Agamotto AKA the Time Stone to change the past. We can imagine that he probably witnessed the death of Dr. Palmer.

In trying to reverse her death, he tampers with time - never a good idea, except for in Avengers Endgame, but even then, Bruce Banner had promised the Ancient One that they would put the Infinity Stones back.

This episode has the most fantastical and mind-bending animation of any of the episodes up till now, and there are 5 more yet to be released.

Let's talk about what we can do about the past. We can't change it, but we can learn from it. We can use those learnings to improve our present.

I think that is the moral of this alternate MCU story, and it's important.
